SIZING GUIDE

The appropriate sizing of children's jewellery is really dependent on the size of the child rather than their age as children vary so much. So it can be tricky to work out whether or not a piece will fit. In order to help you to pick out the right piece for them, we have put together some helpful guidance.

MEASURING YOUR CHILD’S WRIST

FOR A BRACELET:

It is very easy to measure the size of your child’s wrist.

Step 1: Simply take a piece of ribbon or cotton string and gently wrap it around your child’s wrist, just below the wrist bone (be careful not to wrap it too tight).

Step 2: Make a note of where the string ends or cut the string to the correct length and then line it up against a ruler to get the measurement. Most of our bracelets are adjustable to accommodate various sizes and ages of a growing child.

Step 3: Add ½” to the measurement to obtain the proper bracelet size.

It's essential to ensure the bracelet is not too tight to prevent discomfort or potential hazards.

FOR BANGLES:

If you are measuring for a baby bangle make sure that you also measure the widest part of your baby’s hand.

GENERAL SIZE GUIDE

Baby (0-24 months)

Baby bracelets usually range from 4 to 5 inches in length. It's essential to ensure the bracelet is not too tight to prevent discomfort or potential hazards. A good rule of thumb is to be able to fit one or two fingers between the bracelet and the baby's wrist.

Toddlers and young children (24 months - approx 6 years)

Toddler to young children's bracelets usually range from between 5 to 6 inches in length. Many of our bracelets are adjustable to fit from toddlers through to young children - approx 6-7 years old.

This sizing is just a general guide, the most accurate method is to measure the child’s wrist.
